  3. The number of semester credits to take is based on the student’s GP of the previous semester.
  4. For students of batch 2014 upwards, new system of credits quota is applied:
    • 24 (twenty-four) credits for GP 3.75 up.
    • 21 (twenty one) credits for GP 2.75 up to 3.74
    • 18 (eighteen) credits for GP 2.00 up to 2.74
    • 15 (fifteen) credits for GP 1.99 downwards
  5. For students of batch 2013 downwards, the existing system still applies:
    • 24 (twenty-four) credits for GP 3.25 up.
    • 21 (twenty one) credits for GP 2,75 up to 3,24
    • 18 (eighteen) credits for GP 2,00 up to 2,74
    • 15 (fifteen) credits for GP 1,99 downwards
  6. The minimum number of credits to take by students in every semester is 15 except for: (1) students making undergraduate thesis, and/or (2) students already passing all the courses or most of the theory courses.
  7. Students are fully guaranteed to get seats in every class offered in the running semester.
  8. In the case that a class offered is already full, excessive students are requested to officially enlist the waiting list provided by Academic Office. The Department Board will make additional quota or open new classes for the excessively taken course.
  9. Students running out of class quota and staying still out of the city may arrange to get seats during the period of course editing.
  10. Students may revise their taken subject courses during the scheduled course-editing period.
  11. Students are strictly prohibited to sell their rights on certain subject courses with limited class quota to any other students badly needing the courses. When they are proven knowingly violating this term, they will have severe academic consequences.
  12. During the period of taking or editing courses, students must meet their Academic Consultants (DPA), and this begins from 30 days prior to the official opening schedule of course taking time up to 30 days after the scheduled period of course taking.
  13. Students can check their academic consultants’ consultation schedule in Sintesis.
  14. The aims of meeting with academic consultants (DPA) are to report the courses taken and explain their study progress.
  15. Students not meeting their academic consultants until 30 days after the end of the course-taking period will find their Sintesis accounts blocked.
  16. When meeting their academic consultants, students are required to bring the printout of their Academic Report Sheets of the previous semester and Course Sheets of the running semester to be signed by the consultants as evidence of their report activity. The Course Sheets are then turned in to Academic Office.
  17. It is the right of students to have consultation services from their academic consultants on selecting courses and solution for any study problems they are dealing with.
  18. During the course-editing period, the academic consultant may give advice on cancelling certain courses with a consideration that a course mistaking may harm the student’s study journey.
  19. When the editing period is over, all courses taken cannot be cancelled or changed under any circumstance. The grade obtained from the selected courses will be calculated to determine the students’ GPA.
  20. When students take more than 144 credits, the excessive credits cannot be dropped from the academic transcripts under any circumstance, and the grades for the excessive credits are calculated to determine GPA.
